The Redragon EFU is a high-efficiency, 0.1-micron absolute filter for lube and transformer oils. The use of stacked paper discs, compressed onto hollow steel rods allows for the continued reuse of the filter media simply by back-pressurizing the filter housing with compressed air at 120 psig.Expected lifetime of the filter paper is about 1 year of constant use. User-adjustable tensioning blocks on the rods are supplied as standard so the operator can adjust the compression of the paper as it ages. No specialized equipment is need to change the filter rods. Spare paper is readily available from Redragon.
If the two-housing option is selected then the EFU towers may be run in alternate duty, series duty or parallel duty.
